15 November 2022 - The 2022 edition of “ECOMONDO – The Green Technology Expo” with Key Energy had record numbers. This is the biggest trade show dedicated to green economy, held at Rimini Fiera (Italy) from 8 to 11 November, with +41% total participation compared with 2021 recorded (and +15 compared with the record edition of 2019), also marking double the foreign participation (from 90 countries).

The state of the art of the market was represented by the 1,400 exhibiting brands present over 130 thousand square metres for this 25th edition of Ecomondo and 15th of Key Energy, which bring together the best of ‘made in Italy’ and international technologies for the pillars of green economy: circular bio-economy, management and valorisation of waste and wastewater, regeneration of soil and sea and sustainable blue growth and hydrogeological risk, along with the solutions and technologies in the solar sector, voltaic and accumulation systems sector, on shore and off shore wind farm sector, energy efficiency measures in industry and buildings, and a focus on sustainable cities and electric mobility.
Ecomondo will return to Rimini from 7 to 10 November 2023, preceded from 22 to 24 March 2023 by the first edition of K.EY The Renewable Energy Expo (the Ecomondo spin off of KEY ENERGY which is now autonomous, doubling its space).

PIAGGIO COMMERCIAL ON STAGE.
Like every year, Piaggio Commercial participated in Ecomondo 2022, standing out with a 160 m2 stand, arranged in a professional and welcoming environment where customers and operators were able to meet the Piaggio Professional team.
On display in the dedicated stand (Pavilion A7) were a Plaster White Single Wheel Short Wheelbase Porter NP6 (photo above) and a Dual-wheel rear Long Wheelbase Porter Chassis in the special Verde Limasa colour (photo below).
The two versions attracted the curiosity of numerous visitors, who naturally saw a versatile ally in Porter for the widest possible range of professional needs in urban settings, always congested and governed by strict anti-emissions restrictions. Designed to excel in working in urban environments, but perfectly in its element outside the city as well, Porter NP6 is the only vehicle of its kind that simultaneously guarantees outstanding cargo capacity, reduced size, extreme agility, and eco-friendly engines. There are over 800 “ready for work” versions in the Fixed and Tipper Deck versions, ideal for short range goods transport: In fact, Porter NP6 Chassis excels in a variety of sectors as “the professional of transformations”. Operators from various sectors were able to recognise and appreciate its configuration (designed for the city) and developed outfits which are both innovative and capable of meeting any professional needs in areas where characteristics such as compact size, performance, and eco-compatibility have become imperative - from urban hygiene to goods transport, from green landscaping maintenance to building construction.
