OVER 130 LOTS DEDICATED TO ENTHUSIASTS AND COLLECTORS, INCLUDING PIAGGIO CIAO AND VESPA, RARE GILERA AND MOTO GUZZI.

April 2023 (G.T.) – A reference point for Italian and foreign collectors and enthusiasts, the Bolaffi auctions dedicated to vintage two-wheelers are an unmissable event. The next one in Turin, Thursday 13 April 2023 (lots display at Garage Bolaffi, corso Verona 34D, 11am-6pm), when over a hundred lots will be sold, coming from private collections, consisting of vintage vehicles and true rarities. Leafing through the catalog – available here: www.astebolaffi.it/it/auction/152 – you will discover models of the Piaggio, Vespa, Gilera and Moto Guzzi brands of great interest. Here they are, in quick succession.

PIAGGIO CIAO.

Five mopeds, from 1968 to the 1980s, which briefly represent the production of the famous Ciao, from the first series of 1967; the vehicle, a symbol of freedom and autonomy for generations of young people, went out of production in 2006, after almost 40 years of success. Over the decades it has not undergone substantial changes, but functional and aesthetic improvements. Go to the auction: Piaggio Ciao 1968, Piaggio Ciao 70s, Piaggio Ciao late 70s early 80s, Piaggio Ciao 70s and Piaggio Ciao PX 80s.

VESPA. At auction, the 1978 Vespa P 200 E (still has a large following, including dedicated websites and social media) and the 1984 Vespa 125 Primavera (the model, born in 1967, was a great success, especially among young people, remaining in the price list for 15 years).

GILERA. From the standard super vintages of the 1950s to the specials developed by tuners. The lot includes 10 vehicles of the brand of the two crossed rings: Gilera 150 from 1953, Gilera 300 Extra from the 1950s; Gilera 200 T4 from the 80s, Gilera Nettuno 250 from 1949, Gilera 175 Turismo from 1957, Gilera Saturno Sport from 1949.

And again: Moto Guzzi Cardellino 65 from the 1950s, Moto Guzzi Lodola GT from the 1950s, Moto Guzzi Lodola Gran Turismo 253 from 1963, Moto Guzzi Zigolo from 1954, the superb Moto Guzzi Superalce 500 from the 1960s and Moto Guzzi Falcone Turismo 500 from 1951, the 1972 Moto Guzzi Dingo Cross 50 moped and the 1978 Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone 500.

MOTO GUZZI. The lot dedicated to the over 100-year-old eagle brand (1921) is rich, of which 22 fascinating vehicles are up for auction, from the Trotter, the first moped produced by Moto Guzzi, to the powerful Gran Turismo GTV 500 motorcycle. Here is the list complete: Moto Guzzi Trotter 40cc from the 70s, Moto Guzzi Galletto 160 from 1951, Moto Guzzi GTV 500 from 1947, Moto Guzzi Astore 500 from 1952, Moto Guzzi Airone 250 from 1956, Moto Guzzi Airone Sport from 1952, Moto Guzzi 65A from 1957, 2 Moto Guzzi Motoleggera 65 from 1951.

And again: Moto Guzzi Cardellino 65 from the 1950s, Moto Guzzi Lodola GT from the 1950s, Moto Guzzi Lodola Gran Turismo 253 from 1963, Moto Guzzi Zigolo from 1954, the superb Moto Guzzi Superalce 500 from the 1960s and Moto Guzzi Falcone Turismo 500 from 1951, the 1972 Moto Guzzi Dingo Cross 50 moped and the 1978 Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone 500.

Moto Guzzi Special 1000 (850 T-3) from 1980, Moto Guzzi V1000 I-Convert from the 80s, Moto Guzzi 1000 Le Mans from 1985, to conclude with two Moto Guzzi Stornello 125s, one from 1965 and another from the 70s.
