September 2022 – Admired, photographed, dreamt about: the Moto Guzzi specials created by Officine Rossopuro – Filippo Barbacane Design, Pescara – were on display in the dedicated area during the recent GMG-Giornate Mondiali Guzzi (Moto Guzzi World Days) 2022 which celebrated the Eagle Brand’s centennial. Motorcycles which are an original blend of creativity, technical content, and passion.

Ahead of the GMG event, the “creator” announced, “We're on our way, headed toward Mandello Del Lario. Bikes finished, a ‘69 V7 700, a 1980 SP1000, and an NTX750, ready for exhibition. And my Gran Sasso 1100 to get me around.”
And here are the specials by Filippo Barbacane of the Officine Rossopuro workshop, dedicated to our Wide readers.

“On a 1969 V7 700 base, restored from disastrous conditions, it was brought back to life, making a clean slate of its rather unhappy past.”

“Everything passes" and 100 years of @motoguzzi have also passed. This is perhaps my most complex work ever. SP1000 base, body in aluminium, Officine Rossopuro push road suspension with @bitubosuspension shock absorber, @mass.exhausts exhaust, @discacciati_brake_systems brakes, and much more that we’ll explore together!”

OFFICINE ROSSOPURO. “An organisation which, in the person of Filippo Barbacane, has always maintained the same, recognisable style since 1993, as well as the same indelible fingerprint, made up of great passion and attention to detail. Design and craftsmanship. Filippo Barbacane, the mind and arm of Officine Rossopuro, has been building bikes since 1993 with great passion and love for what cannot be defined as a job, but as a lifestyle which occupies every instant of his existence. Building, but more than anything, riding the bikes, is the fundamental aspect in being able to understand the needs and preferences of the customer. Not objects to be observed, but bikes with a soul, created to be used, experienced, and preserved over the years.”
