July 2022 – All the elements were there for the festival of motors and riders to be a great success. Even the launch video for the third edition of Motor & Mountain aroused great interest among enthusiasts.
So, on the weekend from 8 to 10 July 2022, there was an extraordinary turnout of participants – more than fifty thousand – in the town of Riaño, in the Spanish region of Léon, for the 2022 edition of "Motor & Mountain Fest", with Moto Guzzi as a great protagonist and main sponsor of the event. And there were hundreds of riders astride their Italian “Eagle” brand bikes participating in the Spanish festival. Three intense days and as many evenings with performances by musical groups, the artist Wilbur with his fun monologues, spectacular freestyle motorcyclists, as well as stands and memorabilia, food trucks, and, above all, motorbike rides over the wonderful landscapes of the Picos de Europa.
More than seven thousand square metres set up for the event, much of which was used to admire the latest new products; Moto Guzzi displayed the entire range of new models, such as the exclusive numbered special Moto Guzzi V85 TT Guardia d'Onore series, the all-terrain V85 TT Travel, and the new V7, which many participants were also able to test on the road, enjoying a weekend in the purest style of authentic motorcyclists.
Also extremely popular were the Moto Guzzi awards activities dedicated to the countless and loyal fans of the Eagle brand from Mandello. Of the Moto Guzzi awards, the "Icona” (Female Icon) category stood out, reserved for the most iconic woman, won by Natalia Mínguez; in the "Viaggiatore" (Traveller) category for the most adventurous Guzzista, Beltrán Pedregal was awarded; the award in the "Bon Vivant” category went to the extremely likeable Francesco Scalcione (“FranCapone”); last, but not least, the award for the best "customised” bike in the "The Customizer” category went to one of the most passionate and renowned Moto Guzzi tuners on the national scene, Mauro Abadini of Classic & Co.
